A Little Something is committed to reducing waste wherever possible, and as a result you may receive your order in a pre-used box. Most of our packing materials are either pre-used or recycled and we encourage you to save these materials for your own future use.
A Little Something About the Owner
Deidre wears many hats. Always an entrepreneur at heart, she opened A Little Something in 2010 when a local jewelry store was offered for sale. She was encouraged to buy it and set to work writing a business plan which led her to realize that her community needed more than just a jewelry store. So, A Little Something was born, and has grown to incorporate not just jewelry and gifts, but stylish and well-crafted clothing, small-batch candles, classic and modern housewares, greeting cards and more.
Deidre loves to prominently feature Vermont artisans in the shop, and realizes that there are many, many talented people all around the country and the world, whose work is appreciated and loved by her customers. She travels extensively and is always on what she calls “retail reconnaissance,” seeking out the undiscovered makers whose work she can bring to her customers. At A Little Something, Deidre has created a shopping experience in which you don’t have to spend a lot to get high quality, one of a kind jewelry, gifts, and more.
